The stiff legged deadlift is one of the best movements to work both the hamstrings and the lower back. However it is a shame that too few gym goers perform this movement correctly. So is the bar meant to go from the floor to waist height or where?
The end position is standing completely erect, squeezing your glutes/bum at the top. Keeping the bar close to your legs, go as far down as your hamstrings permit with a slight (5%) bend in the knees.
