So I’ve had time to think.

Systemising your business allows the luxury of being alone with ones thoughts… The question is:

What if business is just one great big lie..

At first you’re promised passive income, yet it takes work (hard work) to build a business.

Next you’re promised freedom, but when business grows so does responsibility.

Then you’re promised staff and people to ‘do it for you’, but they require leadership and guidance.

Then you’re promised notoriety and recognition, but that requires a spotlight which also brings hatred.

AND then…. When you finally earn a profit, the Tax office sends you a bill for tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands.

And that’s just the quarter.

Reality… It all leads to one place…

Submission.

And I don’t mean that in a bad sense of the word. Submitting yourself to something regardless of the riches and notoriety is where great work begins… AND its your responsibility to allow your greatest to shine.

OR NOT.

I mean, you could be like everyone else and that would be fine and dandy too. You don’t owe this world a damn thing.

The reality of business will leave you sober with what you first had when you began chasing a dream, a thought or an idea that could change your life, change your industry, or change the world. Because that is the reason why you started down the path in the first place.

It was not for money, it was not for glory, it was not for freedom.

In fact, it was because you didn’t care about the money, you didn’t care about the glory, you chose to commit yourself and wanted to be a leader. You did it because it was always in your heart, and finding out that the ‘freedom of business’ is a lie doesn’t change your life’s journey.

Let business be the vessel to carry your dreams forward.
