The HABIT of saving is more important that how much you save.
Because it builds discipline. Discipline that can build momentum towards achieving your goals.
A savings plan doesn’t have to be complicated either. But it has to be 2 things:
- Unemotional, and
- Automatic.
If you’re infatuated by what money can bring; it has control over you. You’ll do things for money rather than doing things because you want to.
This might have nothing to do with health and fitness. However, a stable mind is a powerful one – and one more likely for success. Also, building the discipline for saving money is exactly the same as building the discipline for saying no to foods that make you fat or overeating.
Learn to look for things in the places you least want to go. In this case, if you search for freedom, you will find it through discipline.
Build discipline in all areas of life.
Discipline is the only way to freedom.
